Carving a view

Lower Falls at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

The view you see above is one that had to be hiked too. You could photograph it up near the parking lot, but where is the fun in that?!

A view of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

The work of erosion is truly amazing. Millions of years to carve out a truly awe inspiring view.

Tower Falls.

Breaking the vertical by going horizontal helped me achieve my flowing into abyss approach. The falls was truly beautiful. A huge flow that just vanished into the landscape. A shame the trail to the base of the falls was washed out due to weather.
